Bhubaneswar, 15/4 (AO bureau): In a major development, Suresh Chandra Mohapatra has announced night curfew in the entire Odisha. Night Curfew will be imposed in 10 border districts from 6 pm to 5 pm till further order. There will be a weekend shutdown in urban areas of 10 districts that are in close proximity to Chhattisgarh.
The night curfew will be imposed from 9 Pm to 5 AM.
Physical classes of college and university students will be suspended from April 19. Teachers will be asked to take classes online.
Govt offices across the state will be functional with 50% staff strength. Banks & other financial institutions will also be allowed to function with reduced staff strength.
Number of guests in marriage & funeral-related events in Odisha have been reduced to 50 & 20 respectively. Total ban on the political rally, other social & religious gatherings.
