Kolkatta,29/5 (AO Bureau):Accusing the BJP-led Center of ‘politics of revenge’, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamta Banerjee on Saturday requested the central government to withdraw the decision to summon Chief Secretary Alapan Bandopadhyay and send the senior bureaucrat. Allow Covid-19 to work for the people during the crisis.
He claimed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah are trying to make it difficult for his government at every step because they still could not digest the BJP’s defeat in the assembly elections. Huh. Banerjee further said that if she will be asked to touch Modi’s feet for the growth and development of Bengal, then she is ready for it.
He said, ‘Because you (Modi and Shah) are unable to digest the BJP’s defeat (in Bengal), you started creating problems for us from day one. What is the fault of the Chief Secretary? Calling the Chief Secretary back during the Kovid-19 crisis shows that the Center is doing politics of revenge.
