Will Ashwin play remaining tests?

Lords, 19/8: Team India is ahead 1-0 in the five-match Test series (IND vs ENG) being played between India and England. But till now off-spinner R Ashwin has not got a chance. Left-arm spin bowler Ravindra Jadeja has appeared in both the matches. In such a situation, questions are being raised whether Ashwin will be able to play in the remaining three Tests of the series or not. The third Test of the series is to be played from August 25 at Headingley.

Former India opener Aakash Chopra said that it is difficult for R Ashwin to get a chance. He said on his YouTube chapel, ‘Now where the matches are to be held, it is difficult for the team to land with two spin bowlers. At Lord’s, the team could have given a chance to two spin bowlers. Ravindra Jadeja has not been able to take a single wicket with the ball so far. Although his performance with the bat has been fine. He scored a half-century in the first innings of the first Test, while scoring a brilliant 40 in the second Test innings.

There is little chance of a change in the team for the third Test

Aakash Chopra said that I do not think that there will be any change in the team for the third Test. Mohammed Shami, Jasprit Bumrah, Ishant Sharma and Mohammad Siraj bowled well at Lord’s. At the same time, Ajinkya Rahane and Cheteshwar Pujara also fought in the second innings. He said that at this time there is no answer to Team India’s bowling lineup. The bowler who is getting the opportunity, he is giving his 100 percent.

English team depends on 39-year-old bowler

Regarding the England team, Aakash Chopra said that the team is dependent on captain Joe Root and 39-year-old fast bowler James Anderson. He said that apart from Root, no batsman has been able to score runs for England. Because of this the team is difficult. While looking at the bowling, only James Anderson has been effective. Due to this, Team India is looking very ahead in the series.
