Top wrestlers of India may face ban warns WFI

New Delhi, 21/8: Top wrestlers like Vinesh Phogat, along with wrestlers Ravi Dahiya and Bajrang Punia, who won medals in Tokyo Olympics, may face difficulties in the coming days. Actually the Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) has taken a big decision regarding the wrestlers. WFI President Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh said that if players take the help of any private organization, then they will not be given a chance to participate in any event. Recently, the Wrestling Federation has sent notices to three players, including Vinesh Phogat, seeking answers. Speaking to The Indian Express, Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh said, “We have referred the players’ matter to the Disciplinary Committee. Which will call Vinesh Phogat, Sonam Malik and Divya Kakran. It’s easy to say that I made a mistake. But for what reason and why did you make this mistake?. She said that Vinesh Phogat, through her lawyer, has replied that she did not stay with the Indian team for the betterment of other wrestlers, so that they stay away from the virus. Well, maybe it was taken for the good of others. But why didn’t she wear the Federation dress? What did I have to face because of that and what happened to me. He needs to know this.
