Raipur,7/9: The Raipur Police on Tuesday arrested Nand Kumar Baghel, father of Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, for allegedly making remarks against a particular class. He was presented in the court of Judicial Magistrate First Class Janak Kumar HIDCO of Raipur in the afternoon. The court sent him to judicial custody for 15 days. Now the next hearing of the case will be held on September 21. Paper was not presented for the bail of Nand Kumar Baghel on Tuesday.
It is worth mentioning that Nand Kumar Baghel has been booked for disturbing religious harmony for making controversial statements against a particular society. A case was registered against Baghel under sections 153A and 505-A (B) of the Indian Penal Code 1860 at DD Nagar police station in the capital Raipur. The police brought him to Raipur on Tuesday .
