SC on last minute change in NEET exam, don’t treat young doctors like football

New Delhi, 27/9: The Supreme Court has made a very strict comment on the Post Graduate National Eligibility Test (PG NEET-SS) on Monday. The court has rebuked the Central Government, National Board of Examination (NBE) and National Medical Commission (NMC) and said that last minute changes should not be made in PG NEET-SS exam. A bench of Justice DY Chandrachud and Justice BV Nagarathna said – Young doctors cannot be left at the mercy of insensitive bureaucrats. It should not be treated like football.

The bench has observed that the new syllabus looks more like a final exam than an entrance test. In fact, the post graduate doctors had moved the Supreme Court on the last minute changes in the entrance examination of NEET-SS 2021.

Change in the pattern made two months before the exam
The notification for this examination was issued on July 23. Later on August 31, another notification was issued about the change in the pattern of the examination. That is, the pattern was changed just two months before the proposed exam on November 13-14. The court told the lawyers of the government, NBE, NMC – Please ask the Health Ministry to look into this matter. Don’t treat young doctors like football.
