Sambalpur, 28/9:In a big development, Himansu Sekhar Padhi,District Agriculture Officer(DAO) ,Bolangir has been apprehended by Odisha Vigilance on 28.9.2021 while demanding and accepting bribe of Rs.7,000/- (Rupees Seven thousand ) from a Complainant for issue of Point of sale Machine(POS) for his fertilizer shop.
In this connection, Sambalpur Vigilance P.S. Case No.32 dt.27.09.2021 U/s 7 P.C. (Amendment) Act,2018 has been registered. Simultaneous house searches have been launched on properties of Sri Padhi at 3 places in Bolangir and Khurdha district. Investigation in progress against Sri Padhi, DAO. Detailed report follows.
