Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad writes a letter to Sonia Gandhi

New Delhi, 29/9: The internal strife of the Congress has now come to the fore. After Kapil Sibal, senior Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad has written a letter to the interim president of the party, Sonia Gandhi. According to sources, Ghulam Nabi Azad in his letter has asked Sonia Gandhi to convene a meeting of the Congress Working Committee (CWC) immediately. Before Ghulam Nabi Azad, senior Congress leader Kapil Sibal had demanded to convene a meeting of the Congress Working Committee at the earliest. While holding a press conference on behalf of G-20 leaders on Wednesday, Kapil Sibal had raised the question that the party does not even have a president. When there is no president then who is taking the decisions.

He said that people have a question on themselves on leaving the Congress. Jyotiraditya Scindia, Jitin Prasada left the party. If people do not stop leaving the party, the party will suffer a huge loss. I can’t see the loss of the party. I am with the party, not with any person.

We will not leave the party and go anywhere: Sibal
Regarding the G-23 leaders, Sibal said that we are not among those who will leave the party and go somewhere. We are strong. Those who were close to the party leadership have left the party and those who are not considered close still stand by them.
