Rahul Gandhi to hold a meeting with Punjab Congress leaders

New Delhi, 30/9: Party leader Rahul Gandhi can hold a meeting in Delhi today amid the discord between the Congress in Punjab. According to the information received, Navjot Singh Sidhu, who has resigned from the post of State Congress President (PPCC) of Punjab, is still angry. A meeting can be held between Rahul and KC Venugopal in this regard. On the other hand, there is news that if Sidhu does not agree, then people trusted by Captain Amarinder Singh can be elected as the chairman of PPCC.

According to the information received from the sources, the party can make Captain’s wife Parineeti Kaur as the President of PPCC in place of Sidhu. Along with this, Ravneet Singh Bittu is also in the eye of the party for the post of president. However, right now the party is trying to persuade Sidhu. In such a situation, it is believed that by Thursday evening the picture can be somewhat clear.

Significantly, the effect of Sidhu’s displeasure was seen even in Delhi and the central leadership. Kapil Sibal, Manish Tewari and Sandeep Dixit raised questions on the Congress leadership. Tiwari said that the people who were given the responsibility in Punjab could not fulfill it.
