Dubai, 1/10: Punjab Kings (PBKS) have suffered a major setback. Ahead of today’s match against Kolkata Knight Riders, the team’s star batsman Chris Gayle has withdrawn from IPL 2021. He has decided to withdraw from IPL due to fatigue caused by Bio-Bubble Fatigue. Gayle had come to the UAE to take part in the IPL directly after playing the Caribbean Premier League (CPL 2021).
After leaving the IPL, Gayle said that he wants to refresh himself mentally before the T20 World Cup. Gayle was in the bio-bubble since June this year. First home series (including 14 T20Is against Australia, South Africa and Pakistan) and then the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) and now the IPL. Let us inform that Punjab Kings have to enter the match against Kolkata Knight Riders today.
