New Delhi, 6/10: Big news is coming for the railway employees before Diwali. The government has given a big gift to the railway employees. Like last year, this year also 78 days bonus has been announced for railway employees. About 11.56 lakh non-gazetted employees of Railways will get bonus equal to 78 days’ salary.
Union Minister Anurag Thakur informed about the decisions of the cabinet meeting on Wednesday. He said that in the cabinet meeting today, decisions were taken regarding two departments. Over the years, the Productivity Link Bonus is available to the non-gazetted employees of the Railways. It has been decided in the cabinet meeting that this year also the bonus of 78 days will be given to the non-gazetted employees of the Railways. He said that about Rs 1,985 crore would be spent on this.
