Mumbai,7/10:A Mumbai court has sent Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan, Arbaaz Merchant and six others to 14-day judicial custody in connection with the seizure of banned drugs from a cruise ship. The court has said that after this the matter will be heard in the NDPS court. The court had earlier sent all of them to custody till October 7, whose period was ending on Thursday. After this hearing, the court sent all of them to 14-day custody. The court will hear Aryan Khan’s bail plea on Friday at 11 am. Also, the court has directed the NCB to file its reply by then.
Aryan Khan’s lawyer Satish Maneshinde says that since Khan has been sent to judicial custody, there is no need for custodial interrogation. He said that since the first remand, Khan has filed two bail applications, one for interim and the other one for full bail, on the basis of “no new findings found in the NCB’s inquiry”.
