Mumbai,21/10:Actor Shahrukh Khan met jailed son Aryan Khan in connection with the discovery of drugs on a cruise ship off the coast of Mumbai, the capital of Maharashtra. He reached Arthur Road Jail in Mumbai around 9.30 on Thursday morning. After some time he returned to meet his son. The NCB had arrested Aryan Khan, Merchant and Dhamecha on October 3 for possession of narcotic substances, conspiracy related to it, its consumption, purchase and smuggling. All three are currently in judicial custody. Aryan and Merchant are lodged in Arthur Road Jail in Mumbai and Dhamecha is lodged in Byculla Women’s Prison here. A case has been registered against the accused Aryan Khan and others under sections 8(c), 20(b), 27, 28, 29 and 35 of the NDPS Act. So far 20 people have been arrested in this case.
Earlier on Wednesday, a special court in the metropolis refused to grant bail to actor Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan. The court said that prima facie he appears to be regularly involved in drug related activities.
