Nabrangpur, 6/11: Former Congress MP Pradeep Majhi formally joined the BJD.He resigned from the Congress a few days ago. Along with Pradeep, his supporters also came in procession and attended the amalgamation ceremony. The amalgamation ceremony was held on the stage in front of the Circuit House in Nabarangpur town. BJD state organizing secretary Pranab Prakash Das and Nabarangpur district legislators and leaders attended the function.
BJD’s Nabarangpur district in-charge and sports minister Tusharkanti Behera, former minister Chandrasarathy Behera and MP Ramesh Chandra Majhi were present at the amalgamation ceremony. On the 26th of last month, his supporters announced that he was leaving the Congress and joining the BJD. On the other hand, without Pradeep on the 31st, the Congress declared its position.
