CM inaugurates BSKY smart health card distribution in Nuapada

Nuapada, 8/11:Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today inaugurated the distribution of smart health cards under the BSKY in Nuapada district. About 1.73 lakh people in the district will get the facility. Ten districts of the state, including Nuapadha, participated in the program. On the occasion, the Chief Minister inaugurated various projects worth Rs 480 crore in Nuapada.

Inaugurating the event, the Chief Minister said that drinking water was a major problem in Nuapadha. He said work was underway to supply piped water to all blocks, villages and villages in the district. The Chief Minister inaugurated two mega piped water schemes for Nuapada and Komna. As a result, 8 percent of the district’s population will have access to safe drinking water, he said.

At the request of the Khariar MLA, the Chief Minister announced that Khariar’s Evangelical Hospital would be included in the BSKY scheme. This will allow the people of the district to get medical facilities at the hospital through smart cards.

The Chief Minister said that three and a half crore people from 96 lakh households in the state would benefit from the Smart Health Card. This will help our poor people get rid of many health problems, especially financial ones. He spoke in support of the US Alliance, but said that maintaining some independence was not the answer.
“Every life is precious to him,” he said. Be it a farmer or a miller or a rickshaw puller – let everyone live with dignity. “It’s the goal of his various welfare programs,” he said.

“Odisha is the only state where the state government bears all the expenses from testing to treatment for all patients during the coronation,” he said, adding that every life is worthwhile.

Praising the farmers of Nuapadha, the Chief Minister said that today Nuapadha is moving forward with a new identity. Today, farmers in Nuapadha are focusing on a variety of crops, including crop diversification, organic fertilizers and pesticides. Farmers’ incomes are rising as well.

Citing the example of Mohan Shabar of Salina village in Nuapada block 4, the Chief Minister said that his one and a half acres of land has reached four and a half acres today. His income is also good in family farming. He is an inspiration to everyone today. So I urge you to take advantage of various government schemes and improve yourself.

The function was attended by Health Minister Shri Nab Das, Schools and Mass Education Minister Shri Sameer Das, Nuapada MLA Shri Rajendra Dholakia and Khariar MLA Shri Adhiraj Panigrahi among others who highlighted the development of Nuapada in various fields.
