Nawab Malik’s son-in-law sends legal notice to Fadnavis, demands Rs 5 crore damages

Mumbai, 11/11: In another round of cross-fire between NCP spokesperson Nawab Malik and BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis, Malik’s son-in-law sent Fadnavis a defamation notice, demanding a compensation of Rs five crore.

Malik’s son-in-law Sameer Khan, a businessman, was arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in a drugs case and is currently on bail.

Malik’s daughter Nilofar Malik Khan took to Twitter to post the defamation notice, saying: “False accusations ruin lives. Before one accuses or condemns they must know what they are talking about. The defamation notice is for false claims and statements that Fadnavis put on my family. We will not back down,” she said.
