Kolkata, 16/11:West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee is likely to visit New Delhi next week and meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi. A high-level source said on Tuesday that in this meeting, she will discuss issues like the state’s dues and the increased jurisdiction of the BSF. He told that Banerjee is likely to visit the national capital on November 22 and will return to Kolkata on November 25.
She will be meeting the Prime Minister during her three-day visit to New Delhi, the source told Bhasha. Banerjee may also hold meetings with leaders of other political parties. Asked about the agenda of her proposed meeting with Modi, the source said, “The chief minister will take up the long-standing demand of clearing the state’s dues.”
