Peru, 28/11:Earthquake tremors were felt in Barranca, Peru late Sunday evening. The magnitude of the earthquake was measured at 7.4 on the Richter scale. According to the information given by the USGS, the tremors of the earthquake were felt 36 km north of Barranca, Peru. However, there is no information about any loss of life or property in the aftershocks of these earthquakes.
People came out of their homes as soon as the tremors were felt in Barranca. According to reports, there is an atmosphere of panic among people after feeling the tremors of the earthquake. According to the report, the epicenter of the earthquake was about 100 km below the ground, due to which the occurrence of ground shaking was limited.
Sharing information about the earthquake, the Euro-Mediterranean Seismological Center has made a tweet. It has been said in the tweet that the area where the earthquake occurred is in the Amazon rainforest region, where the habitation is very less. So at the moment there is nothing to fear or panic.
