Central Government announces new guidelines for international travellers

New Delhi, 30/11:The central government has issued new guidelines for international travelers amid concerns about the new variant of Coronavirus, ‘Omicron’. Under this, the passenger will have to give his own information on the Air Suvidha Portal. In the new guidelines, it has been said to prepare a separate place to wait for passengers coming from ‘at risk’ or risk countries. Many states including Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh have issued rules for travelers coming from abroad.

 

 

According to the news agency ANI, according to the advisory issued by the Centre, a self-declaration form will have to be filled on the Air Suvidha portal before boarding. This portal contains information about international travelers who have come to India in the last 14 days. It has also been said in the new guidelines that airlines should implement proper procedure to check about 5 percent of the passengers of the flight.
