Rayagada/ Tikri: A week-long celebration of Fit India School Week (1st-7th Dec 2021) started at Aditya Birla Public School Doraguda. Mr. L.N Dash, Principal, ABPS hoisted the Fit India Flag and addressed the students on the importance of fitness and its impact in our lives.
The Fit India Movement was launched by our Hon’ble Prime Minister of India on 29th August 2019 to encourage people to inculcate physical activity and sports in their everyday lives and daily routine.
To take this mission forward, the CBSE is driving the movements through its affiliated schools and celebrating Fit India week in Nov-Dec 2021.
Aditya Birla Public School Doraguda is entitled to use Fit India logo and Fit India flag.
The week-long programme was inaugurated with talk on Fitness, traditional dance and a colorful rally on 1st Dec 2021.
The students from VI to XI were led by the PET Mr. Sunil Sharma and teachers covered Nuapada area with slogans – Hum Fit hai- toh dunia fit, Stay fit- Stay hit, Body fit hai, toh mind hit hai etc. In this week, a series of programmes will be conducted for the students to practice yoga, poem writing, talk show and good health habit etc.
