CM Naveen Patnaik distributes BSKY smart health cards in Ganjam

Ganjam, 12/12: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today visited Ganjam and inaugurated the distribution of smart health cards under the Biju Swasthya Kalyan Yojana for the district from the holy shrine of Ma Tara Tarini.

 

It is to be noted that Chief Minister Shri Patnaik announced the issue of Smart Health Cards on the occasion of Independence Day this year. On August 20, he was the first in Malkangiri to launch the distribution of smart health cards.

Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister said that it was the government’s commitment to provide better medical care to the people. In this regard, the Chief Minister said that the Biju Health Welfare smart health card is the government’s best gift for the people of the state.

 

The Chief Minister said that 3.5 crore people from 96 lakh households in the state would benefit from the smart health card of the Bijuswasthya Kalyan Yojana.

 

 

Now people can get better treatment at 200 of the country’s largest hospitals by holding a card with no problem.

“Every life is precious to him,” he said. Be it the farmer or the miller or the rickshaw puller – let everyone live with dignity. This is the main goal of his various welfare programs.

 

 

 

On the occasion, the Chief Minister distributed Biju Smart Health Cards to four beneficiaries.

 

In addition to distributing health cards, the Chief Minister also inaugurated various projects worth Rs 2,140 crore in Ganjam. It will focus on infrastructure, education, health, livelihoods, sanitation, irrigation, energy, women and child development.

 

The event was attended by Health and Family Welfare Minister Shri Nab Das Forest Minister Shri Vikram Keshari Arukh and highlighted the state government’s initiatives in the field of health. He lauded the Chief Minister’s visionary leadership and gave an example of how other states and central governments are following Odisha’s plan.

MP Chandrashekhar Sahu, MP Mrs. Pramila Bishoi, MLA Shri Bikram Panda were the chief guests and lauded the strong leadership of the Chief Minister. MLA Shri Shri Kant Sahu offered his thanks.

 

Many members of the state cabinet and legislators attended the event.

 

Initially, Chief Minister Shri Patnaik visited the Taratarini temple to visit his mother and ask for his blessings.

From Taratarini Peeth, Chief Minister Hingili attended various functions there.

 

In Ganjam, the Chief Minister highly praised the work of the Mission Shakti mothers and distributed Rs 100 crore in loans to various Mission Shakti groups.

 

The Chief Minister also visited the smart class room and e library of the converted Vrindavan Vidyapeeth in the 5T school transformation program and also spent some time with the students.

 

The Chief Minister from Hinili flagged off the Ganjam Darshan bus.

 

Along with the Chief Minister, 5T Secretary Shri VK Pandian also visited Ganjam.
