Goa, 19/12: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Goa on Sunday, where he will participate in programs to be organized on Goa Liberation Day and will inaugurate and lay foundation stones of several development projects. A release issued by the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) said on Friday that Modi will participate in the Liberation Day celebrations at the Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Stadium.
Will honor the freedom fighters of ‘Operation Vijay’, conducted by the Indian Armed Forces to free Goa from Portuguese rule. Apart from this, he will inaugurate several other projects including the renovated Agouda Jail Museum, Super Specialty Section of Goa Medical College and New South Goa District Hospital. The Prime Minister will also inaugurate an Aviation Skill Development Center at Mopa Airport and a gas sub-station at Dabolim-Navelim in Margao, the PMO said.
