BCCI President Sourav Ganguly tests COVID-19 Positive

Mumbai, 28/12: BCCI President Sourav Ganguly has been infected with the Corona virus. The former India captain has been taken to the hospital. At present he is in isolation. Ganguly is admitted to Woodland Hospital in Kolkata. Ganguly’s Kovid-19 test report came positive on Monday night. Ganguly has been hospitalized for the second time this year. It is to be known that these days there are reports of rapid spread of new Omicron variant of Coronavirus across the country.

 

 

Sourav Ganguly has received both the doses of Corona vaccine and he was traveling continuously. He was admitted to the hospital on Monday night as a precaution. His RT PCR test came positive. A BCCI source said, “He was taken to Woodlands Nursing Home. He has been given medicine and his condition is stable.” Ganguly was admitted to the hospital twice earlier this year. He underwent emergency angioplasty after heart problems. His elder brother Snehasish Ganguly was also a victim of corona infection this year.
