New Delhi, 9/1: Prime Minister Narendra Modi reviewed the current situation in a high-level meeting on Sunday evening in view of the increasing cases of Kovid-19 infection in the country. This information was given by government sources. He told that the Prime Minister reviewed the latest situation of COVID-19 in this meeting held through video conference. Meanwhile, news agency ANI has quoted government sources as saying that Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya will hold talks with state health ministers on the COVID-19 situation on Monday.

 

This important meeting of PM Modi is being held at a time when 1,59,632 new cases of corona virus infection were reported in the country in the last 24 hours, which is the highest daily cases reported in the last 224 days. The number of patients under treatment in the country has increased to 5,90,611, which is the highest in about 197 days.

 

More than 300 died in last 24 hours

After the death of 327 people in the country in the last 24 hours, the death toll has increased to 4,83,790. According to the ministry’s updated data at 8 am, after 552 new cases of infection from the Omicron form were reported in India, the number of people infected with this form of corona virus in 27 states and union territories of the country so far increased to 3,623.
