ED raid on CM Channi’s nephew’s house before election

Chandigarh, 18/1: Ahead of the assembly elections in Punjab, the Enforcement Directorate has taken major action. In the illegal mining case, the investigating agency has raided the places of many people including the nephew of Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi. According to media reports, 10 different places in the state including the house of Bhupinder Singh Honey were searched on Tuesday morning. ED has registered a case of money laundering.

 

According to reports, officials have said that a case of money laundering has been registered and that many people with political connections are being investigated. The special thing is that the issue of illegal sand mining remains hot in Punjab elections. Former Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh has also accused the ruling party Congress of being associated with illegal sand mining.
