New Delhi, 23/1:On the occasion of 125th birth anniversary of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will unveil the hologram of his granite statue on Sunday. PM Modi had recently announced that a granite statue of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose would be installed at India Gate as a token of gratitude to the great son of the country. The Prime Minister had said that until the granite statue of Netaji was ready, a hologram statue of him would be installed at that place. He had said that he would inaugurate this hologram statue on January 23 on the occasion of Netaji’s birth anniversary.
The granite statue of Netaji will be 28 feet high and six feet wide and will be installed in the pavilion that once housed the statue of King George V, which was removed in 1968. In a tweet, the Prime Minister said, “At a time when the country is celebrating the 125th birth anniversary of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, I am happy to share with you that a grand granite statue of him will be installed at India Gate. This will be a symbol of the nation’s gratitude towards them.
