Mumbai, 28/1: The big relief news for mobile users is that soon they will be able to recharge with a prepaid plan with validity of 30 days. Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has issued some new guidelines for all telecom companies. There are many big decisions in this including the tariff plan for the whole month. Under the Telecom Tariff (66th Amendment) Order, 2022, TRAI has given many such decisions, knowing about which users will be very happy.
TRAI has ordered telecom companies to offer at least one such tariff plan, which has a validity of 30 days.
In an order on Thursday, TRAI said that all telecom companies should offer one plan voucher, one special tariff voucher and one combo voucher with validity of 30 days. TRAI said that companies must offer at least one plan voucher, one special tariff voucher and one combo voucher that can be renewed on the same date every month.
After the issuance of Telecom Tariff (66th Amendment) Order, 2022, mobile phone users will get many recharge plan options. Users will also get the option of full 30 days validity in the plan.
Till now telecom companies give 28 and 24 day recharge plans. It was a complaint of users that telecom companies do not give full recharge for a month. Due to this the users have to face a lot of problems. Also, it costs more money. TRAI said that it has received complaints from users that they have to recharge 13 times in a year for monthly plans and due to this they feel cheated.
