A new look India to face Sri Lanka challenge

Lucknow, 24/2: The 3-match T20 series (IND vs SL 1st T20I) between India and Sri Lanka is starting from Thursday. The first match of the T20 series will be played at the Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow. Before the series, some players of both India and Sri Lanka teams have been out due to injury or corona virus. In such a situation, the playing XI of both India and Sri Lanka is going to be changed compared to the previous matches.


Talking about the Indian team, middle-order batsman Suryakumar Yadav has been out of the series due to injury. Deepak Chahar is also forced to be out of the team due to injury. Former captain Virat Kohli and Rishabh Pant have been rested. KL Rahul is also not in the team. On the other hand, Sri Lankan all-rounder Wanindu Hasaranga has come under the grip of Corona virus. The opening T20 match of the series will be played in Lucknow while the remaining 2 matches will be held in Dharamsala.



In this situation, not only the batting lineup of India can be seen to change. Rather, a new player can also get a chance in bowling. Ravindra Jadeja will return to the team after injury. Jasprit Bumrah has also returned after rest. Sanju Samson can also get a chance in this match. Changes are also certain in the Sri Lankan team.
