BJD leads in 277 seats out of 315 seats in Panchayat election

Bhubaneswar, 26/2: The counting of votes has started today as the panchayat elections in the state are over. While the BJD’s dominance in the counting of votes continues, the BJP and the Congress remain ineffective. The counting of votes will continue for three days for a total of 851 seats. However, the BJP and the Congress seem powerless in the run-up to the polls. As of 6 p.m., a total of 315 seats had been announced. With 277 of the 315 seats won, the BJD has won the by-elections. The BJP is in second place with 19 seats, while the Congress is in third place with 14 seats. Other political parties won five seats.
