Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella’s son passes away

New Delhi, 1/3: Software company Microsoft has informed that Zain Nadella, son of the company’s Chief Executive Officer Satya Nadella, died on Monday morning. He was 26 years old and had a disease called Cerebral Palsy since birth.

Microsoft told its executive staff through an email that Zain has passed away. In the message, the executives have been asked to pray for his family.

Microsoft CEO Nadella since 2014 has focused on designing products to better serve users with disabilities, saying he has learned a lot while raising and supporting son Zain. Last year, Children’s Hospital, together with Nadella, established the Zain Nadella Endowed Chair in Pediatric Neurosciences as part of the Seattle Children’s Center for Integrative Brain Research.

Zain had a good understanding of music

Children’s Hospital CEO Jeff Spering wrote in a message to his board, “Zain will be remembered for his fine musical sense, his bright smile and the joy he brings to his family and loved ones.”
