Uproar in West Bengal assembly, 3 BJP MLA suspended

Kolkata, 28/3: There was a lot of uproar in the West Bengal Assembly on Monday. On the last day of the budget session, BJP MLAs raised slogans against the Mamata Banerjee government, demanding a discussion on the Birbhum violence. After this, a situation of scuffle broke out between Trinamool and BJP MLAs. According to the information, during the proceedings in the house, there was a scuffle between BJP MLA Manoj Tigga and Trinamool MLA Asit Majumdar, in which Asit Majumdar is said to be injured, he was taken to the hospital.

 

5 BJP MLAs, including Leader of Opposition Suvendu Adhikari, were suspended from the proceedings of the assembly for creating a ruckus. Apart from Suvendu Adhikari, the suspended BJP MLAs include Manoj Tigga, Deepak Burman, Narhari Mahto and Shankar Ghosh. The Chief Whip of the ruling party, Nirmal Ghosh, while presenting a resolution against the BJP MLAs in the Assembly, said that the dignity of the House has been destroyed. An orgy is being created in the assembly under the provocation of Suvendu Adhikari.
