BJD’s Alaka Mohanty wins Brajarajnagar with a huge margin

Brajarajnagar 3/6: In a major development, Biju Janata Dal candidate Alaka Mohanty won the Brajarajnagar byelection in Odisha’s Jharsuguda district by a huge margin.

 

According to reports, Mohanty secured nearly 65000 votes more than her nearest rival- Congress’ Kishore Patel. BJP candidate Radharani Panda was placed in the 3rd position.

 

After the completion of the final round of the counting, Alaka Mohanty got 93,790 votes while Kishore Patel bagged 27,565 votes and Radharani Panda received 22316 votes.
