Several decisions may look unfair at first, but benefit nation in long run, says PM Modi amid Agnipath protests

New Delhi, 20/6:Amid massive protest over the new recruitment policy in defence forces Agnipath, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday said some decisions that look unpleasant at first will benefit the country in the long run.

 

 

“Several reforms, several decisions may seem unpleasant temporarily. But, in time, the nation benefits from these reforms,” Modi said at a public meeting in Bengaluru in relation to the growth in the startup sector.

 

The PM did not make any reference to the Agnipath scheme that has sparked protests in different parts of the country
