Jindal Steel & Power Observes 8th International Day of Yoga

 Angul: Jindal Steel & Power (JSP) and its Social Arm JSPL Foundation observed the 8th International Day of Yoga at its Plant premises and at its periphery villages. A large number of Yoga enthusiasts participated in the yoga camps held at different places and observed the event by doing yogic exercises under due guidance.
On this occasion the CEO Steel Business of JSP Mr Dinesh Kumar Saraogi along with Angul Location Head Mr. Hridayeshwar Jha, Executive Director Mr. Sabyasachi Bandyopadhyay, Mr. Damodar Mittal and employees with their family members joined the yoga camp held under the guidance of Yoga Guru Swami Satyabindu Saraswati and took advantage of the yoga camp.
In his tweet, today morning, Chairman, Jindal Steel & Power, Sri Naveen Jindal said ” Yoga is the union of body and mind. It brings immense physical and mental health benefits. Yoga has been an integral part of my life and has helped me improve my performance in sports and daily life. I urge everyone to embrace Yoga for a healthy life.”
Attending the yoga camp at JSP’s Angul Township Mr. Dinesh Kumar Saraogi said, “We are fortunate to have a permanent yoga guru in our campus and it is also good to know that most of our employees and their family members are attending yoga classes to remain fit and fine in their life. I request everyone to take advantage of this facility and attend regular yoga class for a healthy life”.
On this occasion, Mr. Hridayeshwar Jha said, “JSP always motivates its employees and the periphery villagers to do Yoga to remain fit. Today our JSPL Foundation has also organised several yoga camps in the periphery villages and organisations. I wish each and everyone on this special day to practise Yoga everyday to remain fit and fine”.
JSPL Foundation has also observed Yoga camps at Badakerjang village, DAV Savitri Jindal School, Mahitala, Adruta Children Home, Asha the Hope Centre and encouraged each and every participant to be a yoga ambassador of their respective institutions and in the villages in the vicinity to spread the message of Yoga.
