New Delhi, 10/8: In a major development, Odisha health and family welfare  minister Naba Kishore Das conngratulat Union Minister, Civil Aviation, Government of India for taking sincere efforts for expediting infrastructural development at Veer Surendra Sai Airport, Jharsuguda which was inaugurated by Prime Minister of India in presence of Chief Minister, Odisha and I was also present on the occasion being the local MLA.  Jharsuguda has become an industrial hub in the Country attracting industrialists and investors from different corners of the Country. Besides, rapid industrialization, the Distict is having deposits of Coal & rich minerals which are another attraction for investors in the years to come. This Airport is at present in a buoyancy stage achieving several milestones in a very short span. You will also appreciate the fact that, this airport has been managed and maneuvered in a very systematic and efficient manner since inception. But the growth of the airport has not been made as expected in the subsequent years which can be resolved by giving attention

 

to the following.

 

• Provisioning of another flight by Alliance Air between Bhubaneswar-Jharsuguda-Bhubaneswar keeping in view the increased number of daily commuters.

 

• Provisioning of flights to Delhi, Mumbai & Visakhapatnam on daily basis by Alliance Air.
