Bhubaneswar : On the eve of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav and to observe Har Ghar Tiranga , State Bank of India Bhubaneswar Circle had organised a ‘Prabhat Pheri’- a walkathon holding Indian National Flag in the early morning of 13-08-2022. The Program was led by Chief General Manager Shri Chander Shekher Sharma . With Shri Sharma, many senior officials like General Manager Shri Uttam Kumar Hazara Chowdhury , CDO Shri Manoj Kumar Singh , all senior DGMs and around 300 staff and officers participated in Prabhat Pheri . It started around 06:45 in the morning from Local Head Office Building and participants walked around 3 KM with patriotic enthusiasm and spectacular procession displaying banners of Bank’s good wishes for public. SBI has started a 12 days customer connect programme through out the state including distribution of National Flag among the customers. Those flags are procured from different SHGs of Odisha through Mission Shakti. At the end of walkathon, CGM Shri Sharma reiterated Bank’s committement about higher standard of customer service and by better customer connect, Bankers can provide best service to the nation. He, on behalf of SBI, expressed Independence Day goodwishes to Citizens.
