Felicitation ceremony by OFFA & WHITECANVAS PRAJWAL SAHOO (Omm) HAS MADE HIS DEBUT IN KAPIL SHARMA –CAST HINDI FILM “ZWIGATO”

Bhubaneswar, 18/3: Today team OFFA & Team White Canvas Event has organized a press meet & felicitation ceremony for Omm, a 13 year old child artist of Cuttack Sriman Prajwal Sahoo who has brightened the flame of acting in Bollywood with the comedy king and great actor Kapil Sharma.He made his debut in Kapil Sharma-cast Hindi movie “ Zwigato”.Eminent actress & Director of Bollywood Nandita Das directed the film and it is releasing today (17.03.2023) on theatres.Most of the parts of the film were shot in Bhubaneswar & Omm has played a vital role in this movie by casting as the son of comedy king Kapil. Hindi Film “Zwigato” based on the tale of a food delivery person’s trials & struggle cast by Kapil. Actress Sahana Goswami has been the cast opposite Kapil Sharma .This movie reflects the hardship of a middle class delivery boy in the challenging situation like covid -19 pandemic.

It is difficult for Kapil (deliver boy) to give time to his family & son .Gradually emotion builds up between the father –son how to over come the situation.

 

Sriman Prajwal Sahoo (Omm) was selected in the audition from Kiit International School when he was a student of KIIT in the age category 12-15. He was borned in the millennium city Cuttack in a noted family of Odisha. He is the grandson of Dr. Sarat Ku Sahoo, Manging Director of Ruchi foodline & noted entrepreneur of Odisha.Prajwal’s father Mr. Arbind Sahoo & mother Salina Sahoo are also involved in the family business and carrying forward the legacy of Ruchi.

 

Today in the press meet Prajwal said I enjoyed the journey of my debut movie, I have never ever done acting in the School but with the blessings of Lakheswar I could have managed to act successfully . Besides my parents my grandmother Sangita Sahoo & my Rashmi Sahoo have encouraged me a lot for this new challenge. I will try my level best to continue this with my studies; especially I am interested to act in an Odia movie with orginal story.

 

During the press meet Ullash Behura, Chairman, OFFA [Odisha Film festivals & Awards] , Bapu Lenka ,Presient-Offa , Mr. Sritam Das, Gen. Secetary of Odisha Film Artists Association , actor Subhasish Sharma & Producer Sanjay Nayak addressed the gathering and said Odisha is no way lagging than any other state now a days .
