Bhubaneswar:(Correspondent) :- Indian Metals and Ferro Alloys (IMFA) Company celebrated the 93rd birth anniversary of its founder, Late Dr. Bansidhar Panda, and the 23rd foundation day of the company today. This morning, worship was offered to Maa Khandurai and Maa Chandimata, and obeisances were paid to the statue of Late Dr. Panda at the IMFA Mine Administrative Building. In the afternoon, the ceremony was held at the Mahagiri Enclave Club House. The company’s Chief Financial Officer and Head DCS Prem Khandelwal attended the ceremony as the chief guest, while Head of Mines Eng. Sandeep Bapuraoji Narade attended as the guest of honor and lit the lamp and offered his prayers . He highlighted various aspects of Panda’s dedicated service. Senior officers and employees of the company who have served for 5 to 25 years were honored. Volleyball, Badminton and sand art competitions organized for the past three days and winners were awarded. On the occasion of the birthday of the late Mr . Panda, food and mosquito nets were distributed to the residents of the old age home of the senior citizen of Aanaapal village of Bhuban block. Head of Human Resources and Administration Department Girish Kumar Pattnaik managed the stage. Electricity Department employee Santosh Pradhan paid tribute to the founder Dr. Panda through an attractive sand art. District Council member No. 37 Jema Chakhi, former Block President Bhagwati Mahanta, General Secretary of SRCKMS Bharat Mahanta and the public were present. Panda’s birthday, the company wished him all the best.
