Jajpur: Tightening the noose around the neck of corrupt government officials Odisha Vigilance launched DA searches at 7 locations of the ABDO of Dharmasala Block in Jajpur district today morning. The ABDO has been identified as Asit Kumar Patra. As per reports, today that is on 15.05.2025 on the allegation of acquisition of disproportionate assets (DA) beyond his known sources of income by Asit Kumar Patra, the Additional Block Development Officer (ABDO), Dharmasala Block, simultaneous searches are being conducted by Odisha Vigilance. The searches are being led by 8 DSPs, 9 Inspectors, and other supporting staff on the strength of search warrants issued by Special Judge, Vigilance, Cuttack at his following 7 places in Jajpur, Cuttack, Bhadrak, and Bhubaneswar ( Khordha) districts.
- Four storeyed building of Asit Kumar Patra located at Chorda near Kanheipur, Jajpur Road, PS- Jajpur Road, Dist- Jajpur.
- His Flat No.404 (A), 4th floor in Metro Avenue Apartment, Chauliaganj, Cuttack.
- House of his native village at Garadeswar near Sundarimuhan, PS/Dist. Jajpur.
- House of his relative located at village Sanabanasta, PO-Nerada, Via-Akhuapada, PS-Bhandaripokhari, Dist. Bhadrak.
- Residential Govt. Quarter of Sri Asit Kumar Patra, ABDO, Dharmasala Block, Dist-Jajpur.
- Office room of Sri Patra at Dharmasala Block, Dist. Jajpur.
- His homestead plot located at Chandrasekharpur, Bhubaneswar.
