Srinagar, 15/5: Barely two days after the killing of three Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terrorists in south Kashmir’s Shopian, including the outfit’s operational commander Shahid Kuttay, another encounter broke out in neighbouring Tral area on Thursday, leading to the death of unidentified Ultra.
Police said the gunfight erupted in Nadar Lorgam village of Tral in Awantipora after a joint team of the Army, paramilitary CRPF, and J&K Police launched a cordon and search operation based on “specific intelligence inputs” about militant presence
