A shocking incident of a minor girl killing his mother with the help of his lover has come to the fore at Telisundhi Sahi in Parlakhemundi of Gajapati district. Though the incident had occurred on April 29, it came to the fore in the girl’s Instagram Chat on May 16.
The deceased identified as Rajalaxmi Kar was staying in a rented accommodation in telisundhi Sahi for the last four years and her minor daughter was studying in Class VIII in the Kendriya Vidyalaya. However, the girl fell in love with a local youth and had a physical relationship with him. When Rajlaxmi got to know about it , she strongly objected to it.
The girl rattled with the objection, conspired with his lover and decided to remove the thorn from her way forever.
Accordingly, on April 29. she mixed sleeping pills in her mother’s food and later choked her to death with the help of her lover and another associate. Later, they took Rajlaxmi to the District Headquarters Hospital(DHH) stating that she died of cardiac arrest. Then the accused girl took the body to Bhubaneswar and cremated it with the help of her relatives.
But later the relatives’ suspicion was aroused when they somehow managed to see her Instagram chats. Following which , they approached the Paralakhemundi police for a probe. The police after a preliminary probe have detained the accused girl and her lover and recreated the crime scene at the rented house of Rajlaxmi.
Notably, the accused girl was rescued from the road when she was only seven-day-old and she looked after her well-being. The deceased’s brother Shiv Shankar Mishra has alleged that the girl’s lover and his associate have stolen a necklace of 10 grams of Rajlaxmi which she was wearing. The Model police are carrying out further investigations. The incident after coming to light has triggered shockwaves in the town.
