Sri Asit Kumar Patra, Addl. Block Development Officer (ABDO), Dharmasala Block, Dist-Jajpur has been placed under arrest by Odisha Vigilance for possession of disproportionate assets.
Based on searches conducted on properties of Sri Asit Kumar Patra, ABDO, Dharmasala Block, Dist-Jajpur, he was found in possession of disproportionate assets including 3 multi storeyed buildings, 1 flat at Cuttack, 1 shopping complex, 5 high value plots, gold ornaments approx 700 gms, deposits Rs.65 lakhs, cash Rs.1.85 lakhs etc, which he could not account for satisfactorily.
Following this, he has been placed under arrest and will be forwarded today to Court.
In this connection, Cuttack Vigilance PS case No.11 /2025 has been registered against Sri Asit Kumar Patra, ABDO. Investigation continuing.
