Cyclonic circulation likely over Arabian sea by May 21: IMD

Bhubaneswar: IMD said on Tuesday that a cyclonic circulation is likely over Arabian sea by May 21 that is Wednesday. According to latest reports of the India Meteorological Department (IMD), a cyclonic circulation is likely to form over the Arabian sea by May 21. Reports further added that, an upper air cyclonic circulation is likely to form over the east-central Arabian Sea off the Karnataka coast around May 21. Under its influence, a low-pressure area is likely to form over the same region around May 22. Thereafter, it is likely to move northwards and intensify further added the India Meteorological Department (IMD) in its bulletin. This is a developing story. Further detailed reports are awaited in this regard. Monsoons further advance and onset over Kerala has been seen, said reliable reports from the India Meteorological Department (IMD). The IMD shared details on the advancement of monsoon on its X handle. The conditions are likely to become favourable for Monsoon onset over Kerala during next 4-5 days.
