Inauguration of 62nd National Cost and Management Accountants Convention- 2025

Day-1 of the 3 days 62 nd National Cost and Management Accountants Convention
(NCMAC) – 2025 has been successfully conducted by the Institute of Cost Accountants of
India on the theme ‘दिव्य-दृष्टि: Corporate Excellence – CMA Vision’ at SOA University,
Bhubaneswar.
The convention was inaugurated by Dr. Hari Babu Kambhampati, Hon'ble Governor of
Odisha as “Chief Guest” in the presence of CMA Pradip Kumar Das, CMD, IREDA Ltd, CMA
Gagan Bihari Swain, Director (Finance), OPGC Ltd. & CEO of OCPL, CMA Bibhuti Bhusan Nayak,
President, ICMAI and Chief Patron, NCMAC-2025, CMA TCA Srinivasa Prasad, Vice President,
ICMAI and Chairman, NCMAC-2025, CMA Manoj Kumar Anand, Council Member, ICMAI and
Convenor, NCMAC-2025 and CMA Vinayaranjan P, Council Member, ICMAI and Chairman,
Resource Mobilisation Committee, NCMAC-2025 .
Speaking on the occasion, the Hon’ble Governor of Odisha hailed the role of the CMAs in the
rapidly evolving economic scenario in the Country. It was reiterated by the Chief Guest that
growing need for strategic cost management is driven by the technological advancements and
regulatory changes with the integration of data analytics, artificial intelligence and automation
into operations.
Plenary Session was graced by the prominent CMAs, sharing their views and insights into the
theme of the NCMAC-2025 and said that the future of Cost and Management Accountancy will
be characterized by a shift towards a holistic approach that encompasses strategic planning,
risk management and value creation.
More than 1200 delegates from Corporate Sectors, Industry Associations, Government,
Regulatory Bodies, Financial Institutions, CMA Professionals & other Professionals attended the
Convention. The Convention was telecast live to reach all over the globe.
