Metropolitan 27th May, at the Metropolitan Congress Committee office, the Mahila Congress paid tribute to the country’s first Prime Minister, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, by offering flowers on his death anniversary. Mahila President Advocate Khusnuma Parveen said today the whole country remembers Nehru ji who made a significant contribution in the building of nation.
National Women Congress leader Pooja Chadha said, “With the dream of a strong and inclusive India, Nehru ji laid a strong foundation for independent India with his visionary leadership. His contribution in establishing social justice, modernity, education, constitution and democracy was valuable.
