A few days ago, the police were saying that 27 Maoists, including notorious Maoist leader Nambala Keshav Rao, were killed in an exchange of fire between the police force and Maoists in the Abujamad forest of Chhattisgarh. Today, the Maoist organization issued a press release saying that 28 Maoists were killed instead of 27. According to reports, the Maoist organization has admitted that not 27 Maoists but a total of 28 Maoists including Basava Raju were killed in the Abujamad encounter in Narayanpur, Chhattisgarh. While the police recovered the dead bodies of 27 Naxals, the dead body of one Maoist was taken away by the Naxals.
The Maoist organization has clarified that Along with this, the names of 28 Naxals killed have been released through a press release. The spokesperson of the Special Zonal Committee, Dandakaranya, has condemned the encounter in an alternative press note and made many revelations about this massive shootout that started on May 19. The press release issued by him mentions that on the day of the incident, the Maoists tried many times to escape after getting information about the arrival of the police team. However, the Maoists were not successful in this, there was a short shootout five times since the morning of the 19th. But there was no damage. On the night of May 20, thousands of soldiers surrounded the Naxals and all were killed in the operation on May 21. The slain Maoists made many attempts to save their lives, but they were not successful. In this regard, the Maoists are speculating about the real status of the Maoist organization after issuing the press release. Meanwhile, the Chhattisgarh Police has given the Maoists a last chance. In order to save lives, IG of Police Sundar Raj P has warned the Maoists to surrender or else die. The IG has said that this is the last chance for the Maoist organization. On the other hand, the collapsed Maoist organization has issued another press release requesting for a ceasefire. The Maoists have requested for this ceasefire more than four times in the last one month and it is believed that the Maoist organization is taking its last breath.
