Bhubaneswar:(Correspondent):- In a significant step towards strengthening healthcare infrastructure and enhancing patient care, NTPC Ltd., Eastern Region-II Headquarters, Bhubaneswar, under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, has provided essential medical equipment worth ₹63.59 lakhs to AIIMS Bhubaneswar.The support includes:50 Rapid Emergency Recovery Trolleys.
60 Folding Wheelchairs with Cushions
60 Stretchers on Trolleys
50 AYUSH Fixed-Height Over bed Tables
These medical assets are aimed at meeting the diverse needs of patients and improving the quality of care and service delivery at the premier healthcare institution.The equipment was formally handed over by Shri Arindam Sinha, Regional Executive Director (East-II), NTPC, to Prof. (Dr.) Ashutosh Biswas, Executive Director & CEO, AIIMS Bhubaneswar, during a ceremony held on Wednesday, 28th May 2025.Speaking on the occasion, Shri Sinha emphasized NTPC’s commitment to contributing meaningfully to community welfare through focused CSR interventions, particularly in the health and education sectors.
