Patnagarh, 28/5: In a major development, Patnagarh parcel bomb case in Balangir district of Odisha the ADJ Court in Patnagarh today pronounced the judgement after 7 years of the incident. The Court convicted accused Pujilal Meher and awarded him life imprisonment. That means he will remained lodged in the jail till death. Apart from that the accused was also fined Rs 50 thousand.
Accused Punjilal was taken from Balangir jail early in the morning under tight security to the Patnagarh Court.
The statements of all 62 witnesses as well as the accused Punjilal Meher had been recorded earlier.
