Pilgrim bus hits truck from behind in Odisha’s Ganjam, 6 critically injured

Bhubaneswar: As many as ten passengers were injured as the tourist bus they were travelling in collided with a truck on National Highway 16 near Subalaya Square under Rambha police station area in Ganjam district on Thursday morning.The accident occurred when the bus, returning from a pilgrimage to Uttar Pradesh and heading to Andhra Pradesh, lost control and hit a parked truck.Ten passengers were injured in the accident and were rushed to Chhatrapur Medical for treatment. The bus was on its way back from a pilgrimage tour when the incident took place. Upon being informed, the Rambha police have launched an investigation into the accident and are looking into the circumstances surrounding the collision.
