Cyclone in Bay of Bengal: Rain likely in various parts of Odisha till June 14

Bhubaneswar: A cyclone is active over the southeast and adjoining southeast Bay of Bengal at an altitude of 5.8 km above sea level. Accordingly it has been predicted that rain likely in various parts of Odisha.It has been predicted that light to moderate rain is likely in various parts of the state till 14th of June due to the effect of the cyclone in BoB. The Regional Meteorological Centre has issued a yellow warning for lightning and thunderstorms in various districts of Odisha till 12th June.A yellow warning has been issued for Malkangiri, Koraput, Mayurbhanj and Keonjhar for thunderstorms tomorrow. Winds may blow at a speed of 30 to 40 km per hour in these districts. Similarly, a yellow warning has been issued for 11 districts for heat and humidity.There is no possibility of a major change in the maximum temperature of the day in various districts for the next five days.
